Political Career
Raghu Sharma started his political career with the Indian National Congress. He worked hard for the party. He became General Secretary and later Vice President of the Rajasthan Youth Congress. He was also President of the Rajasthan Youth Congress.
He first became a Member of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly from Kekri constituency in 2008. He served as MLA from 2008 to 2013. He was re-elected as MLA from Kekri in 2018 and is still serving in this position.
In 2018, Raghu Sharma was elected as Member of Parliament from Ajmer in a by-election. He served as MP from February 2018 to December 2018. After that, he returned to state politics.
